Historical Methodology and Curriculum Development Workshop (Wed 15 Sep 2p-4pm online)

On Wed 15 September from 2pm to 4pm, Dr Vincent Hiribarren took part in a workshop on the theme "Historical methdology and Curriculum Development", organised by Dr Jimoh Mufutau Oluwasegun, department of History and International Studies, Federal University of Birnin-Kebbi.

Approximately 30 scholars mainly from Northern Nigeria but also from India and Britain attended the online seminar.  It was an opportunity for Dr Vincent Hiribarren to advocate for an historical research off the beaten tracks. He gave several exemple of new fields that could be explore in research programmes and teaching curriculum: hsitory of sport, digital history or history of sexuality.
