Workshop - Peace and Security in Nigeria (PASiN)

aDSC 0220Between the 13th and the 17th of March 2023, NigeriaWatch, IFRA-Nigeria, and the Institute of African Studies conducted a 5- days training workshop on the methodological challenges of violence studies in Nigeria. The twenty participants got a chance to develop a deeper understanding of Nigeria's security concerns as well as new methodological skills, such as how to generate statistics, interpret data, and write articles.

Vitus Ukoji Nwankwo (Nigeria Watch Coordinator) and Dr. Victor C. Eze (Nigeria Watch Information retrieval Specialist) gave a presentation about how to write a paper on conflicts, Dr. Victor C. Eze (Nigeria Watch Information retrieval Specialist) while Dr. Marc-Antoine Pérouse de Montclos (Scientific director) gave a presentation about what methodology to choose to study conflicts.
