IFRA-Nigeria/IAS Postgraduate Training Seminar: Academic Writing & Publishing in the Global North

IFRA-Nigeria and the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, will organize a postgraduate training seminar on Friday, 7th of June 2013, at Drapers Hall, Institute of African Studies. The aim of the seminar is to upgrade and develop skills of upcoming scholars in the field of Academic Writing and to give them the proper tools to be published in reputable journals.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Saheed Aderinto, Assistant-Professor of African History, Western Carolina University, North Carolina, USA. Dr. Saheed Aderinto is a well-published scholar in the field of African history. He is also an alumnus of the University of Ibadan and an IFRA-Nigeria Scholar-in-residence.
All postgraduate students and junior scholars in the Social Sciences and the Humanities are welcome. The seminar is free, but participants must register in advance at the IFRA-Nigeria general office, open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. The number of participants is limited to 50 and seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
